Learning to Love is our K-5 Catechesis program.  It takes place on Sundays after the 11 a.m. Family Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes and runs until 2 p.m. Lunch is included. This is an opportunity you don’t want to pass up for your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew! It is called Learning to Love because we will help teach your child to Know God, Love God, and Serve Him!  Learning to Love like Jesus is a lifelong process!

PARENT GROUP - I invite you to join us on Sundays while your child is in Learning to Love or EDGE for our parent group!  This is a great chance for prayer, fellowship, catechesis, and support between parents.  We are here as one family in Christ!

EDGE is our Middle School (6th - 8th Grade) Youth Group and it will run at the same time as Learning to Love.

Learning to Love- K-8th Religious Education

"Learning to Love" is a class-based religious education for Kindergarten through eighth grade.  We will be using the Faith and Life Series by Ignatius Press combined with the efforts of wonderful volunteer catechists.  The goal of the program is to introduce and strengthen the invitation to the Christian life.  By presenting an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ, through the Church, the Sacraments, the teachings of Christ, and a relationship with Him, we aim to begin a lifelong journey of Faith.

EDGE Middle School Youth Group (6th - 8th)

EDGE provides a safe fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way.  It is part of the international Life Teen Youth Ministry movement.

Life Teen 9th-12th Youth Group

As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.

Sacrament Preparation- Baptism, Confirmation, First Holy Communion

We also have a one-year Sacrament Preparation program for Baptism as well as for First Holy Communion and Confirmation.  Confirmation takes place normally in 3rd grade here in the Diocese of Phoenix, but we will guide any child who is older than 3rd grade.
